Differences between Photovoltaic Inverters and Energy Storage Inverters

As an efficient, green and environmentally friendly renewable resource, solar photovoltaic has been gradually used in various fields at this stage. The sustainable development of the energy storage inverter industry is naturally inseparable from the relative national industry standards. "GB_T34133-2017 Energy Storage Inverter Test Standard" is the standard specification for the energy storage inverter industry. China Electric Power Research Institute, Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd., Beijing Qunling Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and XJ Power Supply Co., Ltd. were jointly drafted and officially implemented on February 1, 2018.

 

"GB_T34133-2017 Test Standards for Energy Storage Inverters" specifies charging and discharging inspections, grid-connected and off-grid adjustment inspections, high-efficiency inspections, load capacity inspections, power quality inspections, power control inspections, grid applicability inspections, and low-voltage ride-through capabilities. Testing, anti-islanding protection performance testing, environmental and safety testing, protection function testing, electromagnetic compatibility testing and other testing standards. Senior engineers familiar with this industry will find that most of the test standards are the same as those for photovoltaic inverters, except that the test requirements for dedicated energy storage inverters have been increased in Chapter 6.5 "Power Quality Testing".
